: OTHER PLACES YOU CAN FIND ME
It's So Webmaster in Here
HI! My name is Jeremy, and I use he/him pronouns. I'm a 20 year old hobbyist writer. I'm working to get a bachelor's degree in conservation, and self-teaching some foundational linguistics until I can get professionally certified there, too (we want to be a translator in STEM at least once) -- this is just what I do for fun!
Writing has always been a passion of mine, and horror fiction especially is very important to me. I have a lot of projects in the works, which is what the Horror Stories section is all about! So if you're here for all the scary stuff, then that's where you need to be! My favorite genres to work with are surreal and psychological. Horror in the mundane is one of my favorite things to explore ever and I eat it up every time I see it.
After deciding to take my works off of AO3, I'm reuploading my fanfiction (especially the horror fanfiction) here. Somewhere. I haven't decided where it's going yet, but it'll be up Eventually.
I tend to work very, very slowly, both because of my one million responsibilities outside of this hobby, and having chronic pain and disorganized thinking. Representation and keeping character identities into account is also something that means a lot to me, so I take my sweet time examining what I'm writing, why, and what the impacts of that are. I try to be as thorough as I can in everything I make!
OH, while you're here - I also really, really would love for you to go check out all the things my friends are up to, they're such creative and wonderful people and I'm positive that you'll find something you like from at least one of them, especially if horror's really not your thing! (And that's okay! Like what you like!)
Evil Facts ... But They're Just Normal Facts to Me ...
I am evil shadow skull so when you're being mean to me this is who you're being mean to /ref
I could probably get more specific with the label, I just don't really care to? But for all intents and purposes we're a binary trans guy on the aromantic spectrum.
I'm a native English speaker, but I'm working on learning other languages! Spanish (using Mexican and Latin American resources) and Mandarin Chinese, to be specific! Still a beginner in both, but we're getting there!! (Both for special interest reasons and so I can talk to more people - I myself am white and grew up monolingual, but the area I live in is VERY multilingual. Plus, it never hurts to know more!)
I am also multiply disabled - most impactfully, we have chronic pain (endometriosis and complications from said endo). Spend most of my time at home because of that! I'm an autistic DID system and on the schizospectrum somewhere. Neurocardiogenic/vasovagal syncope has been a lifelong issue for us. I have complex tics and no idea why.
We've kind of been going back and forth on what we want to do for our career, but we're a full-time student in wildlife conservation, transferring out of the marine biology/oceanography and sustainable aquaculture program for something more broad and well-rounded. I know I definintely wouldn't mind doing different things in the field, though. Don't have to do one set thing forever, after all!
