First Aid and Crisis Response

Keep Yourself Informed

"Collin, why are you putting this up on a Neocities site? It's more likely people are going to find these things outside of you." True! I still like to have these things compiled in the event that I or someone I know needs them. If you don't have the material memorized or in an easy-to-access place, I'd advise you to do the same!

Additionally: some information on the tabs may be influenced by what country they originated from (ex: emergency numbers, 999 vs 120 vs 911, etc.). We also live in the US; I still highly recommend getting first aid training if at all possible by searching for free or affordable courses in your area. That and staying informed where you can on how these things work in your area (such as text-to-emergency dial). Please be safe.

First Response Certification

- Training Services and Certification - American Red Cross. It is HIGHLY recommended to take a CPR/AED/First Aid certification course at least partially in person, if at all possible.

- Wilderness First Responder (WFR) - National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Explains the difference between regular first aid and wilderness first response scenarios.

The below sources are all GENERAL guides, and NOT proper substitute in place of proper training or certification. I believe it is still good information to know, but 100% GET the certification if you are in any way able.
